First Father’s Day

We celebrated Dylan’s first Father’s Day yesterday. It was a rainy day that kept us inside for most of the time, but we got to spend time together as a family, which is a day well spent in my book. Noah and I surprised daddy with a little frosting for his wrist from Jord Wood Watches. I’ll start with saying that my husband is extremely hard to buy anything for. He is very picky and he has a very classic style. He doesn’t really follow trends and likes to stick to staple pieces. He literally still wears the same watch that he received when he was 10 years old and he’s 29.

The minute I saw this watch on Jord’s Instagram page I knew it was perfect for Dylan. The face of the watch looks traditional, but the wood band throws in a natural/stylish touch. I love the contrast between the two. The style of the watch is perfect for Dylan because it mixes classic with natural. I think the watch can be dressed up or down and fits in perfectly with his sporty/business lifestyle.

When he opened the watch I could tell he was surprised. He certainly didn’t expect a present right now. Owning your own business and having a 5 month old leaves little extra spending money for lavish presents. I was mostly pleased because I could tell Mr. Picky was very happy. He’s actually heading to the jewelry store today to get it sized. Luckily it came with extra links so he just has to take it around the corner.

If you’re looking for a watch for that special man in your life that is unique, classic, and stylish I would highly suggest a Jord watch. You must go browse their selection. They also have amazing women’s watches. Noah was quite the sport for our photo shoot and he was also pretty pumped because he turned 5 months yesterday. It’s crazy how fast this little guy is growing. How did you spend Father’s Day? Did you treat your husband or dad to a special gift? I hope whatever you did that you got to spend quality time with the special men in your life!

I love the watch and congrats on the first Father’s Day! I wish I could get my hubby to wear a watch! He is very traditional in his clothing style and doesn’t like to venture from his normal wears!
