Zucchini Lasagna Recipe & New Vlog On Youtube!
Happy Tuesday friends! I just got back from the dentist (sooo much fun) lol. I had to get some fillings, and it wasn’t the most pleasant experience. When I got back Dylan was finishing up the edits on today’s video. We got a little off track on our scheduled video days last week, so we are trying to get back on our schedule this week. If you haven’t subscribed to our Youtube Channel, make sure to hit the red subscribe button so you can join our Youtube family. I’ll add all of the ingredients & steps for you below. It’s super easy to make, and you can see exactly how we make ours in the video (even with Dylan slapping the zucchini onto the cutting board like a weirdo, LOL).
Zucchini Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
Tools:
Directions:
1. Peel zucchinis and slice them 1/4 inches thick
2. Place sliced zucchini on an oiled backing sheet and sprinkle with salt
3. Bake zucchini at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
Sauce Prep
4. While zucchini is baking dice the onion and sauté it in olive oil in a large pan
5. Once onions are translucent, add the minced garlic cloves and sauté for an additional minute.
6. Next add the ground beef or turkey to the onions and garlic along with the oregano, thyme, and any additional salt and pepper.
7. Once the meat is cooked through mix in the 2 jars of marinara sauce, cook for another 5 minute and set aside.
Layering
8. Add the layers to the pan in this order: Meat Sauce, Zucchini, Meat Sauce, Cheese, Zucchini, Meat Sauce, Cheese
9. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees
That’s it! So easy, healthy, and delicious. Honestly Noah has no clue that there are vegetables in this “pasta”. Him and Emma both love it! Thanks so much for stopping by today friends! We are actually making this for dinner again tonight, lol!
XO,
Lee Anne
Hi! Do you drain grease from meat or just cook all together? Thanks.
Hi there! Just depends on how greasy it is. I usually aim for grass fed ground beef without a ton of extra grease!
