How I Stay Optimistic & 30 Day Challenge
This post is sponsored by Frost Bank. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
I would consider myself a pretty optimistic person, but we all have those days. No matter what’s going on I try to see the positive side of things, I like to pause & think about the things I’m grateful for, and I try to find time to unplug & practice mindfulness when possible.
Recently I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed. When I get overwhelmed I have trouble focusing on anything. My shoulders get tense, I feel like I’m in a fog, and I just want to escape all of my deadlines. This feeling really seems silly to me when I look at it from above. I should be thankful for having the opportunity to work from home, stay at home with my kids, and run my own business.
This is why I’m really excited to take on the 30 Day Optimism Challenge put together by Frost Bank. The challenge starts on Monday August 6th. It’s free to participate, and you can sign up to join me, HERE. You will receive one email per day with a daily challenge that will inspire an act of optimism in one of the following ways : fostering generosity, building community, or changing perspectives.
Some examples of the types of daily challenges you will have are:
List 5 things you’re grateful for on a sticky note you’ll see daily
Delete the apps you don’t use from your phone
Do a favor for someone without them asking
Leave an uplifting note on a random car
I’m honestly really excited about this challenge, and even my husband is going to join me in participating. The daily challenges are so cool, and I really feel like they will put me in a good mood. Being optimistic can change your entire life, so who’s up for the challenge? Would love if you guys joined me! Who’s in??
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
XO,
Lee Anne
