Our Master Bathroom Renovation

all modern bathroom renovationHoly heavens it’s finally done! Let the angels sing! Guys… we didn’t realize what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to renovate this house LOL. We started lining up the projects faster than we could complete them. Everyday life and work got in the way, and slowed down a lot of our projects.

Although things have gone much more slowly than initially anticipated, the master bathroom is finally finished, and we are so happy with the way it turned out!

When it comes to renovating your house, things really start to add up from a cost perspective. We were so pumped to collaborate with AllModern for this renovation. They have some affordable modern options & quick shipping if you’re looking to give one of your bathrooms a refresh!

all modern bathroom renovationWe knew we wanted to brighten up the space. Grey & white is basically the color scheme throughout our entire house, and we wanted to incorporate it into our master bathroom as well. We wanted to stick with clean, modern lines, and have the master bathroom reflect the work we also did in the kitchen.

all modern bathroom renovationWe ended up taking out the tile, replacing it with new tile, linked HERE. We took out the vanity, and got a new one. Took out the big mirror, and replaced it with two mirrors. Took out the old light fixture, and put in a new modern one. Basically the name of the game was “take out the old, put in the new”. The flooring was the first project we tackled, and that made a HUGE difference. We also added a new plush white bathroom rug that I’m loving!

Adding the new vanity made everything feel so modern and clean. It kind of feels like a hotel bathroom now. I seriously love it! The other side of the bathroom is still the old bathtub & shower, but we felt like that side didn’t look as dated as the vanity did. Just updating the one side of the bathroom made a HUGE difference. Not sure if/when we will update the other side, but we are loving the new space that we’ve created with just half of the bathroom.

The video shows more of the process & the before and afters, so check it out below!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thanks for sharing! It’s indeed a lovely space, great transformation! The vanity is beautiful, glad you really replaced that one, and the two mirrors and the light fixture looked perfect with it. The tile floor just brightens the space even more. Picked up some design ideas, thanks!

It’s undoubtedly a flawless space, incredible change. The vanity is wonderful, happy you truly supplanted that one, and the two mirrors and the light apparatus looked impeccable with it. The tile floor just lights up space considerably more. I love the wonderful way the floor came out, and the vanity. The paint hues and subtleties like the equipment have such an effect.
