How To Style An Entryway

style an entryway style an entryway style an entryway Before Picture Above (So plain!)style an entryway After Picture ( So much better!)style an entryway style an entrywayThe entryway in our rental home is quite long. It’s been sitting bare for awhile as I have been contemplating what to do with it. My initial thought was to get two matching tables and do a similar set up in each area. Then I realized my front door would practically run into one of the tables, so I decided to just decorate the second area further away from the door. I’m still scheming up an idea for the area by the front door. I’m thinking maybe a simple bench with a painting above it might work nicely.

I was in love with the table as soon as I set eyes on it when browsing the aisles of At Home Stores. It’s the perfect definition of “Rustic Chic” and at the price of $150 it was really a good value. I knew I wanted a pretty mirror to hang above it so that was my next item to search for. Adding a mirror to a wall can make such a difference. It completely opens up the room, and makes it feel so much bigger than it really is.

I found the perfect bronzed circular mirror to hang above the table. I think it was around $70 and it’s such a great piece. I could hang one in every room I like it so much, ha! I grabbed a couple gold decorative pieces to tie in the gold from the mirror. I love the long oval dish to toss keys in when we walk in the door. I wanted a simple rug that wasn’t too busy. I found this one and instantly knew it would be perfect. It’s design isn’t super overpowering, and the color is perfect.

Styling an entryway can be easily done with just a few pieces. I would suggest starting with the main piece first, like the table and then simply style around it. Choose a color palette and add a couple of accents. I hope to do something with the area by the front door next. Feel free to leave me some suggestions in the comments below!

A big thanks to At Home Stores for sponsoring this post. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

So cute! I definitely think a tufted bench would be cute in that other space. You could hang a large piece of art or put in some hooks to hang hats/coats/etc.
