Household Products To Stockpile Before Baby Arrives
There’s nothing better than being prepared for baby’s arrival. As I sat down to make my list of household products to stockpile before baby arrived a few weeks ago, I thought it would be a good idea to share it with you guys as well. Any sort of preparation you can do before baby arrives will be super helpful once baby is here.
I also stocked the pantry with any sort of food items that are non-perishable that we use on a regular basis. We honestly go to the grocery store so often, that we don’t keep many things stockpiled. We also try to eat lots of fresh foods, so there aren’t a ton of items to get for the pantry. Things I picked up for the pantry were things like peanut butter, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, jam, canned beans, pasta sauce, quinoa, coffee, etc…
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO STOCKPILE BEFORE BABY ARRIVES
- Toilet Paper/Paper Towels
- Dishwashing Detergent
- Garbage Bags
- Dish Soap & Sponges
- Hand Soap
- Commonly Used Beauty Products/Makeup
- Q-Tips & Cotton Balls
- Laundry Detergent
- Cleaning Products
- Tooth Brushes/ Tooth Paste/ Floss
- Commonly Used Pantry Items
- Trash Bags
- Paper Plates, Cups, and Utensils (ain’t nobody got time to do the dishes with a newborn)
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Razors/ Blades (if you’re lucky enough to have time to actually shave your legs)
Welp, that was my list! I would love to know if you have anything to add. Feel free to do so in the comments! I hope that was helpful, if you’re planning on baby’s arrival! Thanks so much for stopping by!
XO,
Lee Anne
Thank you!!! We’re expecting our first very soon and this list is awesome (we are super clueless) 🙂
You’re welcome, and a big congrats to you!! That’s so exciting!
Oh my gosh, yes! 100%! The stockpile list was one of the biggest things that I HAD to do before my LO arrived (a year ago…HOW IN THE WORLD?!). I kept telling my husband, I don’t really care if anything else gets done. We must have all the paper towels and months worth of toilet paper. It was such a mental thing, and I still to this day jump for joy when I see a well-stocked utility closet. Haha.
LOL, right!? All the paper towels and toilet paper please, hahaha!
