5 Things I Want To Purchase For Emma’s Nursery

5 things I want to purchase for Emma's nursery
Happy Tuesday friends! I don’t typically post here on Tuesday, but I got so busy yesterday that I forgot to post. We took this photo yesterday in the new house, and I fell in love with it. The sun was coming in perfectly, and I had both of my kiddos nearby. These are my favorite type of photos.

This will be Emma’s nursery in the new house. We’re planning on painting it white (it’s an off white-beige color now). If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I didn’t technically do a “Nursery Reveal” for Emma’s room in our current house. I knew we would be moving soon, so I honestly just didn’t feel the need to hang everything up on the walls to just take it down in a couple of months.

We have all of the basic things for her nursery. We have her crib, glider, dresser, and curtains. I’ll share which ones we have below. We got the Stokke Home set, and it’s really cool and modern. Very different from what I did with Noah’s nursery, but I like it. I have a painting that my sister made for Emma that I will hang, and a gorgeous wooden sign that has her named spelled out that I got from Studio Noel, an artist in Austin. I’m excited about those two pieces because they were handmade specifically for Emma.

There are 5 other things I want to purchase for her nursery, so I thought it would be fun to share them with you guys! Oh… and do we get blinds for these windows? Someone please fill me in on what to do here, lol. I have blush pink curtains that I will use instead of these white ones because I already have them for her room now, but what do we do about blinds? I LOVE all of the natural light, but the room gets really warm, and I want to make sure it’s dark enough for her to sleep. We might have to get custom blinds for the windows in this house, because they are all somewhat unique.

BASKETS

I’m looking for 3 round baskets to put in the corner. I want to use them for toys, blankets, etc.. I love baskets in kids rooms, because it’s so easy to throw things into them to quickly clean up the room. I want one to be bigger than the other two so it’s a uniform look.

FAUX FIDDLE LEAF FIG TREE

I am thinking of adding a faux fiddle leaf fig tree to her room if we have the space. I would get a real plant, but I’m pretty sure it would die (I do not have a green thumb). I’ve seen these trees everywhere, and they are so dang adorable. I’ve found some great deals on them, and will share below!

BEADED CHANDELIER

I’ve had my eye on beaded chandeliers for awhile now. They are SO gorgeous! I’m trying to find the perfect one that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, but that is also a gorgeous statement piece! I have some options that I’m going back and forth on below. Which is your favorite? I think I like the crystal one the best, and it’s on sale!

CRIB CANOPY

Our crib is really unique in that it has a bar that goes above it. They sell a crib canopy separate, and I haven’t gotten it yet. I really want to get it because I feel like it’s so gorgeous with the crib! I want to get it in the white color, which makes me think maybe I’ll keep those white curtains up to go with it? Decisions, decisions….

WHITE PICTURE FRAMES

I want to grab some white picture fames for her room, and print off a couple of baby photos/hospital photos to have in her room. I am a fan of plain, crisp, white ones, and I always love the selection at Target and IKEA.

I’m SO excited about her room! Can you tell!? Thanks so much for stopping by today friends!

XO,

Lee Anne
