Once you get in your 30’s, you really start to think about skincare. I’m pretty sure I went through college with no skincare routine whatsoever. Recently I’ve taken my skincare routine up a notch, and I can really tell the difference. I feel like a lot of us take care of our skin really well in the summer, and then we get more lax about it in the Fall. It’s so important to keep up with your routine throughout the fall & winter months as well. I thought it would be fun to share my three skincare tips for fall with you guys today!
1. Keep Applying Sunscreen – Just because it’s Fall and the sun isn’t beating down on you like crazy, doesn’t mean you can skip the sunscreen. Sunscreen is super important year around, and I recommend putting it on every single morning after you wash your face. Opt for a light weight sunscreen that goes on smoothly under your makeup. I really like to use PCA skincare’s sunscreen that I picked up at Buckingham Center here in Austin.
2. Try Out A New Skincare Routine- I like to switch up my routine every few months, and try out different products. In the morning I always make sure to use a cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and an SPF. In the evening I do the same routine except I leave off the SPF, and I add a thicker night cream. Some of my favorite skincare lines are PCA skincare, Tula, Skinfix, and Colleen Rothschild. If you’re looking for an amazing cleansing balm, you have to try out the one from Colleen Rothschild. I feel like I’m getting a spa treatment at home every time I use it. They are actually giving my readers a 20% off discount. Just use code LEEANNE20. It’s good for 20% off all regular priced items and expires on October 19th.
3. Do A Skincare Treatment- Would you believe that I had never had a facial until my 32nd birthday this year? OMG it was life changing. Something else that I’ve recently done, and that I am OBSESSED with is the BBL Whisper Laser Treatment at Buckingham Center. This treatment is a little more hardcore than a facial, but it is awesome. My skin felt incredible after the laster treatment, and I noticed a difference right away. I was a little afraid at first because I heard that it’s somewhat uncomfortable. Luckily they numb your entire face so it’s not that bad. Plus Laura is really gentle and sweet and makes sure your comfortable during the treatment. Depending on your skin typically they recommend multiple treatments spread out over a certain amount of time. I’ve had one so far, and will probably do another treatment in a few weeks. You can find out more about the BBL Whisper Laser at Buckingham Center right HERE. If you’re in Austin I highly recommend this office for all of your facial needs!
Have any tips from me? I would love to hear from you guys on anything that you’ve tried recently that you are loving. Feel free to leave them in the comments!
