Let’s go ahead and start this post off by being honest. I haven’t worked out as much as I would like since becoming a mom. I get so busy with everyday life that hitting the gym is usually the last thing on my mind at the end of a long day. I’ve never been a huge gym person. Growing up I was a dancer so I spent all of my evenings at ballet, tap, and jazz class. Oh how I miss those days at the ballet barre!
Lately I’m all about quick and easy workouts that fit into my busy schedule. I like being able to pull up Youtube and do a quick 15 minute work out video or take a family walk around the Town Lake Trail in downtown Austin. My goal this year is to put more of a focus on working out, I just haven’t decided what that looks like quite yet, LOL.
Even if I’m not working out, I like to wear workout clothes. I think I’m speaking for almost every girl when I say this. Workout clothes are so cute and comfortable. I feel like I can put on a cute workout outfit and a little makeup and I’m ready for the day. Maybe it’s just a mom thing, but somedays I just need stretchy pants. I’m always bending down to pick up Noah and the last thing I need is uncomfortable pants, ha!
