Bumpdate: 23 Weeks

bump date 23 weeks Hi loves! I haven’t done a bump date in a little while, so I thought it would be fun to do one. This little girl is starting to feel more and more real. Her kicks are insane, lol. We’ve been talking about her a lot with Noah, which is making it start to feel more real. Whenever we get clothes in the mail for her, or something that goes in her nursery he immediately hugs the item and says her name. It’s SO cute. He’s already so loving, and she’s not even here yet. I can’t wait for the day they get to meet.

How Far Along: 23 Weeks, 4 days.

Size Of Baby: Grapefruit

Gender: Girl! I’m so pumped to have one of each. I’m also quite excited to dress her in pretty little pink things. I saw a little girl at the coffee shop rocking a pink ballerina outfit and a pair of Adidas superstars, and mentally jotted that outfit idea down in my head; it was adorable!

Name: We had been struggling with a name, but Noah has chosen. I’m not even kidding. I had a name that I loved, but I wasn’t 100% yet, because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t ignoring any other names that might come to me throughout my pregnancy. Noah does not stop saying this name. We would be brainstorming names and trying to get Noah to say them. For example, we would say Baby Chloe? Baby Madeline? and the only name Noah will say is the one 🙂 It’s so funny, because I really love the name, so I was saying it from the beginning. He picked up on it, and it just seems right. I am so excited about it now.

Symptoms: Heaviness… ugh. Anyone else experience this? It’s almost like a bowling ball is going to fall out of me already, lol. Somedays when I am out and about a lot, or am walking around a lot I feel a heaviness in my pelvic area, and it’s just not fun. I didn’t really experience this with my first pregnancy, and I think it’s almost something that comes after having a baby… I dunno, I need to ask my doc, but it’s not fun, lol.

Cravings: Lately I’ve been loving tomatoes, sour candy, pizza, and pasta. Basically all of the delicious stuff, ha!

Movement: So. Much. Movement. This little girl loves to move. It’s actually great, because I love feeling movement, but whoa she likes to dance, lol. I feel her kicking into the mattress when I’m laying on my side at night. It can be quite an awkward feeling.

Miss Anything: Cut off denim shorts, and non-maternity jeans. I’m able to make some of my old jeans work with the belly band, but it just isn’t the same as being able to zip them up, ha.

Nursery Progress: Haven’t made a bunch of progress since the last bump date. We have her room painted, and we’ve started to buy some things for her nursery, but we still need to move stuff out of her room, and move her stuff in. Hoping to get more of that done over the next couple of weeks.

You look amazing tho! It’s funny because Blaire wanted to name her sister “Flower” – and she was pretty set on it. However, we are not choosing the name flower.. 🙂 have a great day!! xo

Love reading these! I’m right behind you by less than a week (23 weeks friday). I too felt the bowling ball feeling. Yesterday I ended up walking a ton and felt it for the first time. It’s quite uncomfortable and so strange since she’s only suppose to be just over 1lb. I’m thinking about getting a support tank or something to see if it helps. Anyway wishing you a continued good healthy pregnancy. ??
