I never knew how much I wanted a baby girl until I had one. My first baby was a boy, and I fell in love with having a boy. He is the absolute sweetest thing ever, and still is. Once Emma was born I felt so fortunate that I was going to experience the joy that comes from having a baby girl as well.
Immediately after she was born I felt the mother-daughter connection. She felt so feminine and little (Noah was a 9 lbs 5 oz baby, and Emma was 7 lbs 14 oz). The nurse put the most adorable bow hat on her head, and it brought the biggest smile to my face. I had brought a couple of really girly outfits to the hospital that she could wear on the way home, and for some silly reason I was so excited about it.
Does anyone else get like that? I’m so excited to dress her in all of the little girl things! I even want to twin with her, lol. I didn’t really think I would be this way because I’ve always been so casual with dressing Noah (he prefers to run around naked most days, lol). This is where one of my favorite baby brands, Carter’s comes in! Carter’s has some of the absolute cutest things for baby, and they are really affordable. Come to think of it, the first thing I bought for Emma was a button up pajama onesie from Carter’s.
I’m so excited to dress Emma for Spring. Carter’s has some of the absolute cutest spring clothes right now! I’m pumped about little dresses with bloomers (sooo dang cute!), and for spring colors! Another thing I always love about Carters is their basics. They always have the best bodysuits and pajamas. Noah also lives in their joggers & basic tees!
I found some amazing deals recently at Carter’s, and they have the big February Baby Sale going on right now! The sale goes until March 5th! I also have a 20% off coupon that you guys can use until March 12th! You can find the coupon linked HERE!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! We’re off to Florida tomorrow, so Emma will be bringing her cute little flamingo swimsuit along for the trip!
