Simply American with Almay

almay simply americanDuring ACL weekend I had the opportunity to partner with Almay to experience the Simply American Bus Tour! In collaboration with the USO, Almay set out on a bus tour across the country to honor the women of the U.S. military and veterans, and focus on troops as they transition from service back to their communities.

almay simply americanThe truck was parked right outside of the Austin City Limits Music Festival and had an awesome set up! There was a DJ, a wheel to spin full of prizes, free food, a photo booth, and free makeovers. What more could you want on the way to ACL? almay simply americanMy favorite part about the experience was trying out the makeup! I am terrible at applying lipstick so I received a tutorial on how to properly apply lipstick and got to try out the Almay Smart Shade Berry Light Lipbutter. It’s hands down my new favorite lipstick! I’m such a natural makeup girl, and this lipstick was the perfect shade of pink to give me a bit of color!

almay simply americanTo me, simply American beauty is all about a natural, yet, put-together look. Its about getting dolled up for a night out, but keeping your look natural and easy. I’ve never been the type of girl to wear a ton of makeup and that’s why I love Almay. The products are perfect for an everyday, easy look. You can easily achieve the look you’re going for without spending a bunch of money or taking a ton of time to do your makeup!

almay simply americanNot to worry, I didn’t kiss any strangers in the kissing both. I was just posing for a photo 😉 Did you get a chance to check out the Almay bus on your way to ACL? Do you use Almay products on the regular? I would love to hear your favorites in the comments! Have an awesome Wednesday!
