Denver Girls Trip
Happy Monday friends! I just got back from a little three night trip to Denver, and thought I would share my favorite outfits from the trip! I went with my sister, and we stayed with our friend Julie. We had the best time! Julie lives in LoHi which is an adorable neighborhood right across from downtown Denver.
The first night we went to dinner at Lola, a delicious mexican restaurant. After dinner we grabbed a drink at a really cute rooftop bar, and then decided it would be a good idea to do some karaoke. Im not sure what it is about my sister and I but when we have a cocktail, we can’t sit still. We either need to dance or embarrass ourselves at a karaoke bar. I think it has something to do with growing up going to dance class every night after school.
The next morning we went to brunch in LoHi and explored the neighborhood a little bit. Around noon we checked into The Renaissance Denver downtown. The hotel is gorgeous, and used to be a bank. We grabbed happy hour at Range, the hotel restaurant. After happy hour we walked around downtown and checked out Union Station. We we’re very closed to the 16th street mall, so it was fun to explore that area. The 16th street mall is a pedestrian only street full of restaurants, and shops.
That night we had dinner at Panzano, which is an Italian restaurant right across the street from the Renaissance Denver. Everything was so delicious! Scarlett had the steak, Julie had the scallops, and I had the ravioli. All of our meals were amazing!
We woke up and had breakfast in the hotel, and then headed out west to go hiking. We took 70 west and stopped in the adorable town of Idaho Springs for lunch. We did a little window shopping, and then hiked at St Mary’s Glacier. The Aspen trees were so gorgeous, and everything was starting to change colors for Fall.
After hiking we went back to Julie’s apartment, and got ready for dinner. We went to Ocean Prime in Larimer Square downtown. I opted for the filet, because something about hiking in the mountains makes me crave red meat, lol. Everything was so delicious, and it was the perfect way to end our trip.
It was so nice spending time with my girls, and enjoying some time away from home & work. But I was so nice to come home to my boys! Alright friends, it’s time for me to make a coffee and get to work. Cheers to a successful work week!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
