Choosing The Best Underwear For Women

Yes, you heard it right I said underwear on my blog, ha. Today I’m partnering with Kohls to share some tips on choosing the best underwear for women! When it comes to being a mom, I’m all about comfort and that comfort extends right on down to underwear. There is no worse feeling than being uncomfortable in your outfit or in your underwear… especially when you’re a busy mom!

I remember underwear shopping with my mom when I was in high school for underwear at Kohls in my Indiana hometown.  It was one of those awkward teenage years, where I didn’t really know myself or anything about fashion. I would pick out the most random underwear that were not only painful, but probably had some sort of leopard or cheetah print on them. My mom would hand me a pair that seemed like total “granny panties” to me and she would say something like “These are so comfortable, you should try them.” I would take them in disgust and end up purchasing both pairs. Ultimately she was right, because I would wear the comfortable ones all of the time, and wear the trendy and painful pair once or twice.

1. Material Matters – You can get the softest underwear ever now!  I’ve literally found some that feel so amazing on my skin that it feels like I’m not even wearing underwear. You will be able to tell how amazing the material is as soon as you pick up the underwear. If you’re shopping online, it usually will say something like super soft, barely there, no pinching, seam free, etc…
2. Comfortable Waistbands are Key – I hate tight waistbands on underwear. There’s no need for underwear to give me a muffin top, ha. When I shop for the best underwear for women, I always pick ones where the waistband is loose. The waistbands made of lace are great too.
3. Choose the Right Size – The underwear at Kohls seem to run pretty true to size for me. I choose a size small in all of mine, and they fit perfectly. I hate when underwear are too small and don’t fit comfortably.
