4 Ways To Style A Classic Trench Coat For Spring
When I saw this under $40 trench coat on the rack at Target, I was sold. It’s silky soft, and fits perfectly. I also love the gold detailing. The “A New Day” clothing line at Target is so dang cute. Have you checked it out yet? I also have heard great things about the Universal Threads line, but I haven’t checked it out yet. I will let you guys now when I do! I’ll probably do a try-on at some point like I did with this line!
So today I’m sharing 4 ways to style a classic trench coat for Spring. There’s something so chic about a trench coat during Spring, and there are a TON of ways to style them. I could have shared 20 ways, but mom life called, so this is all I was able to do, lol.
LOOK #1 (above): Little Black Dress & Leopard Flats
I love the look of a trench coat layered over a little black dress. This specific dress is SO dang good. I found it at Target, and was really surprised at the quality. The leopard flats tie everything together.
LOOK #2: Long Sleeved Tee, High Waisted Denim, & Flats
Spring temps can still be chilly, so you can easily layer a trench over a comfy long sleeved top. This one by Free People is one of my favorites. It’s silky soft, and has the best drape and fit. I sized down to an x small, because it runs naturally oversized. You can wear any style of flats with this look, but I am in love with these leopard ones lately. I’ll link another more affordable option for these shoes below as well!
LOOK #3: Joggers, Comfy Tee, and Sneakers
Just because you’re wearing a trench doesn’t mean you need to be all dressed up. I think it’s super cute to throw one on over a pair of joggers & a comfy tee. A chic pair of sneakers can complete the look. I LOVE this neutral pair by New Balance that I recently got. They go with everything!
LOOK #4: Distressed Denim, V Neck Tee, and Mules
I love the look of a light wash distressed pair of denim in the Spring. Pair them with a v neck tee, and a pair of slip on mules for a casual & cute look. I am loving this pair of slip on mules I scored at Target. They also come in blush pink. It was hard to not buy them both!
If you are looking for another trench coat option, I LOVE this one from Abercrombie. I have it in a blush pink color, and the fabric is incredible. It’s a little more expensive than the one at Target, but it’s also a bit thicker. You can see my blush pink one in this blog post from last year.
Okay friends, time to sign off of here and get going. We have a busy day ahead! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
