28 Week Bumpdate & Nursery Progress
Hi babes! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done a bumpdate post, so I thought I would share one with you guys. I can’t believe I’m already 28 weeks. I know I say this a lot, but time is really flying this pregnancy. Once you’re 28 weeks you’re officially in your third trimester, which is crazy!
P.S. The dress I’m wearing above is on sale for $31 & it’s SO comfy! Non-maternity, and runs true to size! Grab it HERE
How Far Along: 28 weeks, 6 days. Officially in the 3rd trimester! Only 12 weeks left to go, and she will be here!
Name: We’ve officially settled on one, but we won’t be sharing it until she’s born. Plus, it’s always good to see the baby first to make sure the name matches with their sweet little face.
Cravings: Nothing major this time around; just starving in general, lol. I have started to get acid reflux, which makes me feel like I have to eat less in each sitting or I will literally puke in my mouth (good times).
How I’m Feeling: Pretty good, besides just being super tired. Also, a tad emotional. I think the pregnancy hormones are coming on strong now that I’m officially in the third trimester. I’m so excited to meet our little girl, and also really nervous about being a mom of two. I hope I can balance everything without going crazy, haha.
Favorite Maternity Clothing Purchases So Far: Maternity jeans, definitely. I either live in dresses, joggers, or maternity jeans and a cozy top right now. I’m sure you’ve seen me rocking a lot of dresses on Instagram lately, lol. My absolute favorite pair of maternity jeans so far have been this exact pair. The distressing is super cute, and they actually fit well. Some maternity jeans fit oddly and look all baggy around the crotch area. The price is a little high for jeans I’ll only wear for a small amount of time, but I literally reach for them almost everyday, so it’s totally worth it right now.
Movement: SO MUCH! If you follow me on Instagram stories you might have seen a couple videos of baby girl moving in my belly. It’s so insane that I always want to take videos of it. With Noah, I didn’t see this much movement because the placenta was in the front, so it’s seriously one of my favorite things to watch.
Daddy is: Excited, and a little nervous… basically the same way I’m feeling. Dylan spent one day last weekend putting all of the nursery furniture together. He put together our crib, dresser, glider, changing table, and cradle. I’m so excited to share the nursery with you guys once we get done.
Nursery Progress: We’ve actually come pretty far in the past week. Like I said, Dylan spent a day getting all of the furniture together, and now we just need to hang the curtains & get some pieces for the walls. My sister is planning on painting a custom piece for her room so I’m really excited about that. She makes the most gorgeous paintings! You can check out her Instagram HERE if you’re interested in a custom piece at an affordable price.
FOR BABY GIRL & NURSERY:
Thanks so much for stopping by today friends, and for all of your sweet words on my pregnancy!
