2015: My Favorite Year

I’ll always remember 2015 as the most challenging year of my life. I’ll also remember it as the most rewarding and happy year of my life. With the birth of Noah in January the year was off to an exciting and life-changing start.

2015

As soon as we brought Noah home life was in fast-forward. The days went by so quickly, and it was challenging to get everything done. I only took a month off of work, and diving back in so soon was challenging. I do work from home, which I am so thankful for, but working from home comes with it’s own challenges. Balancing this blog, my consulting job, being a  good wife, and being a new mom was a lot to juggle.

Some days were tough, the to-do list didn’t get fully checked off, and I felt pulled in various directions. Other days were full of an immense amount of gratitude for this amazing life I’ve been given, and the opportunities that have come along from my hard work and dedication.

Becoming a mom has fulfilled my life. Sure there are days when it would be a heck of a lot easier to be able to go and do as I please, but I’ve never felt more whole. Motherhood has made me a better person, a better wife, and has given me a clear direction for where I want to go with my work. I’ve never been more motivated to accomplish goals, and I think a huge part of this is because I want to be a role model for my son.

I want to thank all of you for being a huge support system for me. Your sweet comments here on my blog and on my social media accounts are very much appreciated. I love connecting with all of you and hearing your thoughts on motherhood, fashion, and blogging. This blog wouldn’t be the same without you, and I’m excited for what’s to come in 2016.

Cheers and Happy New Year!
