Being back in Indiana for the holidays has been such a blessing. When we make the trip back we like to spend as much time with family as possible. We are lucky that we both work from home and that we are able to extend our travel because of it. I’ve worked in retail in the past, and I seriously hated the holidays because of it. So when I say I feel lucky, I mean I feel lucky!

This was Noah’s first time flying so we we’re a little apprehensive about how everything would go. To say we were a tad nervous as the plane took off is an understatement. You always hear those horror stories about babies ears hurting and them screaming in pain during take off and landing. Luckily Noah did just fine and the lady sitting next to us on the plane even helped entertain him (talk about a total angel).

Since this was our first major trip with Noah, I felt the need to overpack. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit all of our stuff and Noah’s stuff in our allotted baggage. Luckily I had the chance to partner with SWISSGEAR right in time for the holidays, and they made packing a breeze. I’ve always had soft-shell fabric luggage and I never had enough room for everything in it. What I really love about the SWISSGEAR Hardside Spinner Luggage is that there is a ton of space on each side of the luggage and both sides secure down so things stay in place. I could easily section out my stuff versus Noah’s stuff, and have room for more!

Awe, thanks April! Yes, I’ve always been the same way. I was so happy to get some hardshell luggage!

Love this! These look like the perfect suitcases. My kiddo likes to get in my suitcase and have me pull her around the house, it’s hilarious.

I LOVE SwissGear!! We don’t have any of the hardside luggage from them though so I’ll have to check that out. We started traveling with our kids when they were little, my son was 5 months when we flew across the country to NYC, and we’ve traveled to Europe with them quite a bit. Love family travel, and honestly quality luggage makes a big difference! Glad to hear his first big flight went well 🙂

Fabulous post, love the pics, the lil guy is so cute, my boy is 22, so I kind of miss those days! I have never owned hard shell luggage, I am sure it takes a beating much better than the cloth stuff. Thanks for sharing, love the pictures!

The more space the better in my opinions for luggage.
