Bumpdate: 20 Weeks

bumpdate 20 weeks

Happy Friday friends! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done a bumpdate post, so I’m excited to share what’s been going on with you guys!

How Far Along: 20 weeks, halfway there!

Gender: Girl! I’m so pumped to have one of each. She already has a couple of pink things in her room waiting for her 🙂

Name: Oh my gosh we are so undecided on names. We literally don’t have a front runner, or one that is even close. I need to get on this. For some reason it’s been so hard for me to pick a girl name.

Movement: So. Much. Movement. This little girl moves a ton. With Noah, the placenta was in the front, so to feel the movement he basically had to click through the placenta. With this pregnancy the placenta is in the back, and baby girl is in the front. It’s really crazy to be able to actually see the movements from the outside so strongly.

Sleep: All I know about sleep is that it’s been awesome, lol. I had some insomnia during early pregnancy, but lately I could sleep forever. Last pregnancy I had some insomnia during the end, so I’m hoping that doesn’t happen again this time!

What I Miss: Red wine, for sure. I didn’t really miss wine or alcohol at all during the first pregnancy, but during this one I’ve been a little jealous of friends enjoying a glass of red wine with dinner. Maybe it’s the fact that I have a toddler running around during this pregnancy, but a glass of red wine at the end of the day sounds pretty darn good right now.

Cravings: Nothing major this pregnancy, but I am hungry 24/7. Although being hungry 24/7 is really nothing new for me. I’ve been into salty & sour this pregnancy, more than the last. With Noah, I was more into sweet and savory. Although, I really have been into ice cream lately…

What I’m Excited About Next: Getting baby girl’s nursery ready! We brought Noah home to a one bedroom condo, so we didn’t even have a nursery when he came home. It’s awesome to actually have a room designated to baby girl that I can get ready. We’ve already painted the walls, and have got a few things. Excited to share that process with you guys!

Maternity Clothes: The last few weeks I’ve definitely noticed a need for maternity jeans and shorts. I can’t wear my old pants without a bellyband. The bellyband does help for those days when I want to wear my old jeans, so I love it. ASOS has been great for affordable maternity jeans & shorts. I have my eye on some maternity jeans from Paige Denim as well. I have these shorts in white, and these shorts in a light wash.

Things Purchased For Baby: We haven’t bought a lot for baby yet. I did pick up some pink onesies right away when I found out I was having a girl, because I was so excited. I did receive some adorable moccasins/baby shoes from Sweet N Swag that I shared over on Instagram stories a couple of weeks ago. I’m also really excited to be collaborating with The Happiest Baby to review their new SNOO Bassinet. I will be talking more about it in upcoming posts, and on Instagram so stay tuned!

I loved ASOS for maternity wear. I lived in my faux leather leggings from ASOS and striped tees! xx

Loved this Bumpdate! My first pregnancy the placenta was in front too, it’s crazy how much of a difference it makes when it’s in the back! Kicking all the time!
