Cozy Office Sitting Area With Home Depot

Hi friends! I hope you guys had an amazing Christmas! We are still taking it slowly around here. Cherishing those days when the Christmas presents are still new, the kids are busy playing, and the leftovers are in the fridge. I hinted to you guys over on Instagram Stories that I would be sharing half of my office update before the year was over. Today is the day! I’m sharing my cozy office sitting area with The Home Depot!

Did you know that The Home Depot carries uh-mazing furniture and home decor? It’s not just a large store full of lumber, tools, and appliances. It’s so much more, especially online! I ordered everything you see here online! Everything was shipped right to my house, except for the artwork (which I was able to pick up at my local Home Depot). The Home Depot offers free shipping over $45, and you can always return to any of their stores near your house!

I kind of went all out for this cozy office sitting area. Directly across from this area I will have a custom wall closet. I really wanted this space to reflect my personal style, and the brand I’ve created here on the blog. My style is always cozy, and I like my home to reflect that. I also end up wearing neutrals about 99% of the time, so I wanted to create a neutral living space as well. I will spend my time cozied up here, writing blog posts, hanging out with the kiddos (sans messy snacks lol), and finding inspiration for my next piece of content.

I wanted to create a neutral sitting area full of lots of pillows, and blankets. I was so surprised that The Home Depot literally had everything I needed! The first piece I found was my big faux fur pouf! And guess what!? It’s on sale right now! It comes in a bunch of color options too. Mine is white. The next thing I narrowed down was the sofa. I knew I wanted one that had a “girly” vibe, and this tuxedo sofa is exactly what I wanted.

Next I wanted to add cozy layers. I knew I wanted an accent bohemian pillow, and was so surprised when I came across this one. It is AWESOME! It’s on sale today if you use code BEDBATH15 at checkout! I also plan to use this space to shoot lots of images for the blog and Instagram, so I wanted it to be a neutral cozy spot with lots of textures. I’m so excited about it, and am so proud of this little nook I created. My office is one of my favorite rooms in our house, and it took me forever to finally get it decorated. I will be sharing my custom closet here on the blog soon, so stay tuned for that!
