How To Get More Twitter Followers with ManageFlitter
Okay, so I’m kind of crazy and started a new twitter account when I launched this blog about two years ago. I had grown a good following on my other account so it was a bit of a risky move. You can follow me HERE. I’m not sure if it was the right move or not, but I’m doing my best to grow my current following. If anyone knows how to somehow merge all of your old followers into a newer account please help a sister out, because I’m pretty sure that’s not even possible? Unless you work for Twitter, maybe?
I thought it would be helpful to write a post about how to get more followers on Twitter with ManageFlitter. It’s the current method I’m using to grow my following and it’s working really well so far.
Let’s jump right in!
ManageFlitter is a nifty little website that allows you to see what’s going on behind the scenes in your Twitter account. It’s a great tool to help you get more Twitter followers pretty quickly. It shows you who’s not following you back, who isn’t active on Twitter that you’re following, and which accounts are fake/spam. Twitter has a follower/following limit so this is where ManageFlitter really comes in handy. I believe you can follow up to 2,000 people on Twitter before you get cut off from following more.
I think if you have everything set up properly (a good profile photo & cover photo, well-written bio, and consistent tweets) you should be able to get people to follow you back.
- First you need to set up a profile on ManageFlitter. It is super easy and connects you right to your Twitter account
- Once you’re all set up, you need to go unfollow people that aren’t following you back. Go all the way back to the people that you followed quite awhile ago. If it’s been a month and they haven’t followed you back it’s safe to say that they won’t follow you (unless you unfollow them and follow them again)
- You can basically play with this every day to increase your following. You can even unlock more un-followers so you can unfollow more people per day
- The more active you are and consistent with this approach the better it works. Go and follow hundreds of people a day within your niche. Chances are some of those people are going to follow you back. When they don’t follow you back and you’ve reached the Twitter limit of people you can follow per day hop over to Manageflitter to balance it back out.
- Engage with people on Twitter, tweet consistently, and BAM- you’re on your way to Twitter success!

I just recently started a new blog and got new social media accounts for everything but Twitter. Twitter is scary because I have a decent amount of followers and am scared to have that number go down. I will definitely look into this though! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing, I haven’t been very active on my Twitter and I feel like the majority of my “followers” are spammers so this may be just what I need.
Will have to check this out – my Twitter account is in need of serious help 😀
I just refocused my personal account to fit my website but I did hit my following limit so I’ve had to try and unfollow generic accounts that don’t offer anything to my feed.
I think on twitter you can follow 2,001 and once you have more than 2000 followers you can follow more (I think).
I think it’s important to stay constant and engage with your followers so if and when they hit that following limit you don’t get the axe.
All true points! Thanks for sharing!
I’ve never heard of this service before, but sounds like a great tool! Thanks for sharing!

Well ManageFlitter is one of those good tools you can use to save your time and increase your productivity while working on social media. There are other handy tools present there like Hootsuite and Buffer. Have you tried them yet? Let me introduce one tool that lets you schedule tweets as well and its name is Twuffer.
All sounds great and worth giving a try. Which one would you prefer?
