Friday Chit Chat & Emma 7 Month Update

Emma 7 Month Update Happy Friday friends! I can’t believe Easter is this weekend already. It really snuck up on me. I’m currently sitting at a Starbucks trying to get some work done realizing I have yet to buy Easter baskets for the kids. I would really like to be that mom who buys everything ahead of time & has all of her ducks in a row, but recently I’m constantly reminded that I’m more of a last minute mom.

Emma turned 7 months old yesterday. She’s been venturing into solids which has been great. Her favorite so far is banana although we haven’t tried a ton of things yet. Noah didn’t really have interest in solids until he was about 7.5 months old, so I haven’t really rushed with Emma. She’s still exclusively nursing, and growing well. I’m convinced that she’s one of the happiest babies on Earth. The only time she fusses is if she’s overtired (just like her mama). We like our sleep, lol.

I received a great book recommendation. I’m so excited to get Emily Ley’s Grace, Not Perfection in the mail. I received the recommendation on one of my Instagram posts recently, and I’ve been hearing so many great things about it. The book sounds exactly like something I would write. And as good as I am at giving advice about the topic, I’m not always the best at taking it. Looking forward to that little Amazon drop off this weekend so I can get started on it. I haven’t read a lot of books lately, but I’m going to try to spend the evenings reading before bed instead of scrolling through my phone.

My favorite pair of jeans are on sale. I raved about them on Instagram Stories yesterday. They are normally $88, on sale for $66 right now. They never go on sale, so I’m so excited. I’ve had them for about 4 years now, and they have been my favorites for awhile. I’ve been unable to wear them over the past year because of pregnancy, so I’m so excited to bust back into them. I tried wearing them a couple of times with the belly band during pregnancy because I love them so dang much. They runt rue to size, and have the best distressing. Scroll down below for the link!

Buy ALL of the dupe sunnies! I’m so exited for the dupe sunnies I’ve been finding on Amazon. First being the Ray Ban dupes I found just in time for Florida. Secondly being the Karen Walker dupes I found in both the tortoise shell frame & the black frames. You guys have been loving the dupes too, so I’ll keep looking for more. I’m also creating a specific “dupes” highlight that can live on my Instagram Stories for any others that I find. Who doesn’t love getting the look for less!?

Beautycounter has been fueling my passion for safer products & business. I’ve been blogging for years. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE blogging, but I had been looking for something else to dip my toes into for awhile. I signed on as a Beautycounter consultant over a year ago, and didn’t really do anything with it. Sure, I bought the products at a 25% discount which was amazing, but I didn’t “sell” them or try to build a team until recently. In all honesty, I was afraid of the “multi-level marketing taboo” and I didn’t want to put myself into that box (looking back I realize how silly that was. I wish I would have started sharing it over a year ago with you guys! The mission of the company is incredible, and I LOVE my team. I feel like I’m part of a movement for change (getting safer beauty regulations) & getting safer beauty products into the hands of everyone.

Inspiring other women to build something from home has been on my mind A LOT. I know I’ve chatted with you guys on stories a bit recently about blogging & affiliate marketing. I’m trying to scheme up a way to share more information on how to get started & how to build a successful blog. I’ve written a ton of blog posts on the topic, but I’m trying to think of something else that will be even more helpful (stay tuned for that…. maybe something in video format?). I also know a lot of you have expressed interest in joining Beautycounter as a consultant. It’s honestly such a great company, and the potential to make money while wearing your sweatpants on the couch is huge. There is so much potential in the company right now, and I would love for you to join our team. The team above me is SO inspiring and full of mom bosses who are killing it. Reach out if you have any questions about joining, and if you want to join us today, sign up to be a consultant HERE! I would love to help you reach your dreams of starting your own successful business at home!

You guys have been loving food content! I’ve gotten so many messages from you guys to share more food content & about what we eat in our home (I usually share this on Instagram Stories, but want to share more recipes on the blog soon as well!). For those of you who watched my stories yesterday when I shared my breakfast routine, I’ll link the silicone egg molds below. I’ve been using them for years, and they make my breakfast routine so quick and easy in the morning! You can get a 4 pack for only $9.99 and they will last for years!

Okay friends I can see updates on the monitor for Emma from the coffee shop which means I’ll be needed at home soon for a feeding! I hope you guys have a great Easter weekend with your families! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

XO,

Lee Anne

I LOVED Grace, Not Perfection. Such a great book. I also love that you’re so in to helping others with blogging and being able to work from home. As a mama to two very close to the same age as yours, there is nothing better than being able to be at home with your kids! <3

It’s SUCH a good book! And thank you 🙂 My big goal was to be able to work from home with my kids, and I would love to help other mamas do it too!
