Three Mom Musings
Being a mom is honestly one of the best things I’ve done, and I love sharing my journey through motherhood with you guys on the blog. Motherhood has been a big focus here since this little guy came into our life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here are three mom musings over the past week:
- Noah has been very clingy since we moved into our house. Moms- have you ever moved into a bigger space with your little one and found it challenging for the first couple of weeks? Whenever I leave his sight he seems to get upset. Our old apartment was much smaller and I think he’s just adjusting to the space.
- Would time just slow down? We took Noah into the pediatrician this week and he weighed 25.5 pounds. What happened to my 9 pound newborn? It’s crazy to look back on pictures and see how much he’s grown. Dylan and I are totally guilty of watching videos of Noah after he’s gone to bed at night. We usually have some footage to share with each other from our phones at the end of the day.
- What’s the perfect age gap between kids? I actually asked this question on my Instagram this week and got a ton of responses. Some days I’m ready to get baby #2 on the way, and other days I’m just so content enjoying my one on one time with Noah.
I’m currently hosting a giveaway for a $50 shop credit to Little & Mighty over on my Instagram. Noah’s adorable pear onesie is from there and they have the cutest stuff. Head HERE to enter!

Love the onesie! Our kids are two years apart and it has been simultaneously wonderful and hard. I think that if we have another (which feels like a big “if” some days!) we’ll increase the gap slightly so our youngest is closer to preschool age.
I can so relate! Time goes so fast with a baby — mine are 6 and 8 and I can’t believe how fast it’s going. Enjoy every moment of it!
I always love hearing when people want there kids…back to back or space it out. My sis and I are 22 months apart and we are best friends! Wouldn’t want it any other way! Hope you have a great week! Xo
