Bumpdate: 36 Weeks

bumpdate 36 weeks Happy Monday babes! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a bump date post, so I thought I would share one today! It’s been sort of a crazy day. I hoped to get out and get some work done, but had to come back home because my SPD pain got so bad.

How Far: 36 weeks, 2 days. These last few weeks are sort of dragging by. I’m hoping the next 3-4 weeks go by quickly, as we are so excited to meet our baby girl!

Symptoms: Really bad SPD pain today. Yesterday I took a walk in the morning, and also went shopping and to lunch during the day. I went to bed in pain, and woke up in worst pain. It seems that the thing with SPD, is that you really need to stay off of your feet. I have some work to do on Thursday and Friday that requires me to be on my feet, so I’m trying to stay off of my feet for the next few days. Currently at a coffee shop with my friend, and heading home to work from bed after I finish this post (if anyone has had this type of pain, I totally feel for you; it’s the worst)

Nursery Progress : Honestly with the SPD pain, and trying to get other work done, I haven’t been able to complete the nursery. I have all of the basics, but I need to get some decor pieces, and also hang some stuff on the wall. I’m thinking that my nursery reveal won’t be coming to the blog until after baby girl is here, but stay tuned!

Name: We’ve picked out her first and middle name finally. We still want to see her first to make sure the name fits, but I’m pretty positive there’s no changing our minds at this point. Noah has been obsessed with the name since we first said it. We are already referring to her by her name, so it would be pretty odd to change it, ha.

Weight Gained/Body Changes: 27 lbs so far. I think I gained around 30 with Noah, so I’ll probably be right around the same with this pregnancy. I feel like my belly is smaller this time around (maybe because she’s a girl?) Hoping she doesn’t decide to pop out at 9 lbs 5 oz like Noah did, lol. The doctor said she shouldn’t be that big, and her head is also measuring a little smaller than Noah’s (phew).

Sleep: Sleeping is always a struggle deep into the third trimester. It can be super hard to get comfortable, and I’m usually up to pee 2-3 times a night. Luckily I’ve been getting to bed really early during this pregnancy, because I know how rare sleep is going to be soon.

Things I Miss: Being able to walk without SPD pain, working out, wine, and wearing jeans.

Favorite Maternity Outfit: Right now I’m loving these seamless Ingrid & Isabel leggings. They are the most comfortable bottoms I can wear on my body right now. I’m sort of over maternity jeans at this point, and there’s no way I can wear regular pants right now. They aren’t super thick, so I like to wear them with something that covers my butt, but honestly they are the most comfortable things to wear ever. I’ve been loving wearing dresses over my leggings, and knotting them so they are more form fitting. This one is perfect, and it’s only $34!

Thanks so much for stopping by today friends, and here’s to the next few weeks flying by!

XO,

Lee Anne

We’re trying to have kids so I am learning everything I can about pregnancy! You are super cute and I can’t believe you are 36 weeks. I will have to check back on those leggings when I get pregnant 🙂
