Appreciating The Little Things Through A Toddler’s Eyes
Have you ever watched a toddler learn something new for the first time? It can be the most simple thing, but to them it’s like the world’s coolest thing just happened. As adults, we take these little things for granted. The things we used to see in such awe, are now everyday occurrences that we don’t even give a second thought. Today I’m excited to partner with Joules to chat about appreciating the little things through a toddler’s eyes.
I love experiencing things for the first time all over again through Noah’s eyes. During this photo shoot he had the BEST time jumping in the puddles. Generally when I see a puddle I try to avoid it. I don’t want to get wet, and I find them a nuisance. But when you’re a toddler, puddles are the coolest thing in the world. I decided to stop worrying about getting my dress wet, and jumped in with him. As it turns out, puddles are pretty cool.
Another thing that Noah just experience for the first time was cherries. We picked up some fresh cherries at the grocery store, and for some reason he thought they were the coolest things in the world. We literally had an hour conversation with them before he went to bed one night all about cherries. He wanted to open the cherry up, look at the seed inside, and talk about how cool it was. He literally repeated the word “cherries” over and over again. He woke up the next morning and wanted to talk about cherries again.
Aren’t our rain boots the cutest!? I’m obsessed with Joules rain boots, because they are great quality, but not crazy expensive like some of the competitors out there. They come in a bunch of fun colors & prints, and I love these little navy and white striped ones for Noah! Everything we are wearing is actually from Joules. So if you thought they just made rain boots, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. They have some of the most adorable clothing as well!
The dress I’m wearing is super comfy, and I love that it has pockets. I also love how it mixes both stripes & florals. I was able to squeeze the bump into a size US 4, so I’m thinking the dress runs pretty true to size. As for their toddler clothing Noah’s outfit fit perfectly & he’s wearing a size 2T. My rain coat is such amazing quality you guys, and it’s on sale right now! So if you’re looking for a staple rain coat that will last for years snatch this one up before it’s not on sale anymore!
